Came across this goofy little pointless site (see what I did there?) on Jim Dalrymple’s wonderful the Loop, and it gives me all kinds of joy.

The pictures are great, the idea is nonsensical, and the technology behind it is pretty intense. Or so I assume. I really don’t have any idea exactly how this is done, but it’s very clever and pretty cool!

Clearly getting the coordinates of the pointer is the start, but how this correlates to the image recognition of fingers and/or eyes in images is a bit beyond my pay (and brain) scale. Still – it’s pretty fun to play around and definitely worth a giggle or two.
