About five years ago, I had an idea to build a simple app to keep track of various goals and streaks in meeting those goals. The result was Days Without, and it was one of the first apps I’d built entirely on my own. Since then, I’ve made some updates, expanded the feature set, and used the app as a tool to help keep my iOS skills alive.
Sales have not been blow-away by any stretch of the imagination, but they’re more than enough to justify the cost of my iOS Developer Account each year, and even pay for the occasional iPhone upgrade.
Then yesterday, I noticed a small – but relatively-speaking significant – bump in downloads for a 5+ year old app. I headed over to Google and found a small, but positive review at pocket-lint.com on Days Without!
I’m not sure why or how they even found the app, but it’s definitely a nice surprise. Check it out, and while you’re at it, check out Days Without!
